• Our print technology uses inks that are virtually odorless, contain no harmful VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) , and does not require any special ventilation or environmental equipment.
(Unlike print technologies that use synthetic resin/carbon based transfer ribbons or solvent based inks.)
• Our waste material is seperated and recycled accordingly.
• Our excess material and packaging is donated to a "Recycling Centre" for Early Childhood Professionals as resources for crafts etc.
• Our labels promote the 3R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
• By having labels on reusable containers, household waste is reduced ie - water bottles
• Twisted Sticker's office and production areas are furnished and outfitted with reclaimed furniture, equipment & accessories. As they say..."One man's junk is another man's treasure!"
• All of our equipment - printers & computers - power down when not in use for more than 20 minutes.
• 99% of our lighting is CFLs (compact fluorescent lamp). (The other 1% are odd bulbs or on dimmers.)
• "100 Mile Manufacturing" - Similar to the "100 Mile Diet", however we are pleased to say that all of our suppliers and partners are in less than a 50 mile radius.
