Q:
A:
What are they made of?
Our labels are made with a high quality vinyl. They are dishwasher & microwave safe. They even have a 3 year warranty for outdoor applications (except against excessive abrasion.) The labels have an aggressive permanent adhesive that is difficult to remove once applied.

Q:
A:

What can I put them on?
As with most adhesive products, the surface you are putting the labels on plays an important roll. The surface must be clean and dry prior to application. Smooth surfaces are ideal. Binders, Books, MP3 players, Helmets, Juice Containers, Bottles, Tupperware...anything.
**Shoe Labels** Read Below
It is very important that the surface for the shoe labels be clean & dry. Although our "Field Tester - Jake" put them through some punishment, like playing, skateboarding & BMX riding, they were applied on a clean surface. If the surface is not clean or dirt free, the label will be the equivalent of a lint brush.

Q:
A:
What is the time frame for delivery?
Currently, we are operating on approximately 1 week delivery because of volume.

Q:
A:
Can I use my own design?
Yes - as long as you provide the file in a format compatible with our printing. ie - PDF, EPS, AI. The file also needs to be CMYK and all text converted to outlines.

Q:
A:
Can I split the 50 labels and have multiple names?
Absolutely! Typically, most people with two kids will do 25 of each.

Q:
A:
Do you have iron on labels or labels for clothing?
Iron-Ons are here. You can still have full colour graphics and coloured text but we recommend the background remain white for clarity.

Q:
A:
Do you have tags for knapsacks?
We are currently looking at various options. Just like our labels, we want to offer something cool & unique.
Q:
A:
What do I need to know about designing my own?
If you have a font or graphic you would like to use, please let us know. If you save an image off a web site, it will not print very well. Most web images are 72 dpi which is a very low resolution for printing. However, others can look fine if they are scaled down to fit on the label. Because we mock up the design prior to printing, we will be able to see how well a picture works and ultimately, you will have to approve the final artwork.

Q:
A:
Can I mix & match designs for the packages?
Yes, as long as the name remains the same. Otherwise, separate orders need to be placed for different names. Most people don't mix and match just because of consistency between labels for the kids.

Q:
A:
What can I have printed on my labels?
Basically Anything! You can add a name and cell number if you want an item returned if lost. You can have allergy alerts. You can let people know your child is a Vegan, Vegetarian or Flexitarian. The only limitation is space. If you have something specific, let us know. Because we mock up designs for your approval before printing, you can decide whether the design works for you or not.

Q:
A:

Should I put our last name on the label?
We can't stop you from adding it but we do not recommend it for kid's labels. As parents ourselves, we look at it as putting our kid's safety at risk. A stranger might see the full name and approach the child saying..."Hi Billy! Your mom, Mrs. Smith, asked that I take you home for her because she was running late.." You just never know.

Q:
A:
Will I get a preview of my label?
Yes & No - We do not provide an online preview of the label because extra care & effort is put in to ensure the label design is perfect. Other sites have limited space for the name length (ie - 10 charaters maximum) - we do not. Each name is carefully laid out to ensure it will fit with all characters regardless of length. Also, some fonts have different properties which plays a roll in how the name will look in the space available on the label. We do provide an image via email for customer approval based on the information submitted via the online order form.
